University Relations
The mission of the Office of University Relations is to publicize and promote Heidelberg University to its internal audiences (students, staff, faculty, trustees and alumni) and external audiences (the community at-large, at the local, regional, state and national levels).
The office's activities—media relations, communication and sports information—are to give an honest portrayal of the university in order to generate support for the university, interest among prospective students and a foundation upon which the university's development program may build.
Formerly, the Office of Communication and Marketing, the office played a significant role implementing the transition from Heidelberg College to Heidelberg University. The Office of University Relations and the Office of Creative and Communication Services work closely together to serve all communication, advertising and publication needs.
