Placement Test Information
Undergraduate students are required to take both the Math placement and Language placement tests before registering for classes at Heidelberg College. Students transferring credit for MTH 115, 121, 222 or 223 or higher are not required to take the Math Placement Exam. Students who have transfer credit for MTH courses not listed above or MTH electives must either take the math placement test or request a math placement evaluation from Dr. Bill Grasman at bgrasman@heidelberg.edu.
The math placement test is an on-line exam and should be taken prior to orientation. Students attending orientation will receive instructions and their access code in the mail prior to their scheduled orientation. Other students requesting access to the on-line math placement test please contact Dr. Bill Grasman at bgrasman@heidelberg.edu.
The language placement test can be taken during new student orientation. If you are not required to attend an orientation and need to schedule a language placement test, please contact Dr. Cynthia Lepeley at clepeley@heidelberg.edu to arrange an examination.
