Kenneth Baker
Professor of Biology, Department Chair
Dr. Kenneth Baker earned his B.S. and M.S. from State University College of Fredonia, New York, and his Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania. He has been at Heidelberg since 1985 and teaches the introductory biology course for department majors as well as courses in animal behavior and ecology and environmental science and law. Amy Berger
Associate Professor of Geology
Dr. Amy Berger earned her B.S. from Pomona College and her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Susan Carty
Professor of Biology
Dr. Susan Carty earned her B.S. and M.S. from State University of New York at Stony Brook, her M.S. from University of Oklahoma and her Ph.D. at Texas A & M University. She has been at Heidelberg since 1988 and teaches courses in General Botany, Ethnobotany, Field Biology and Microbiology. Her primary research interests lie in the study of algae. Pam Faber
Professor of Biology
Dr. Pam Faber earned her B.S. and M.S. from Brigham Young University, her MBA from Heidelberg College and her D.A. from Idaho State University. She has been at Heidelberg since 1987 and teaches courses relating to health professions, including human anatomy and physiology, preparing students for careers in health and veterinary medicine. Kenneth Krieger
Professor of Biology, Senior Research Scientist – National Center for Water Quality Research
Dr. Kenneth Krieger earned his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. from Emory University. He has been at Heidelberg since 1978 and teaches courses in Limnology and Water Pollution Biology.
