Business Administration

Why study Business Administration?

Business Administration is a solid preparation for a career in business or management and for careers in accounting, finance, marketing or production in public, private, profit or non-profit organizations and for graduate school. Students develop specialized skills and also improve their capacity to analyze, communicate effectively with associates, think independently and logically and to thrive in many work situations.

Business Administration at Heidelberg

Heidelberg’s Business Administration program emphasizes preparation for practical decision-making in a business environment. Our program includes a firm foundation in economics, accounting and finance; recognition of the importance of marketing and of managing operations; a sound understanding of ethics; and a recognition of the importance of organization. Our business faculty members have years of practical experience in a variety of industries. By drawing on this experience in the classroom, faculty members provide Heidelberg students with real-world examples to complement discussions of business theories.
