Business Administration Major

Emphasis is placed on preparing for practical decision-making in a business environment. Our program includes a firm foundation in economics, accounting and finance; recognition of the importance of marketing and of managing operations; a sound understanding of ethics; and recognition of the importance of organization.

Curriculum

Candidates for either the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree must satisfy the general education requirements of the degree. These courses are designed to provide a broad liberal arts background and skills specific to the particular degree program. Please refer to the course catalog for specific requirements and details.

Opportunities

Internships provide interesting "hands-on" experience to juniors and seniors with a GPA of 2.5 or above. The academic program is supplemented by an active Heidelberg Business Club with plant visits and campus speakers. A business honorary is open to those who have completed 20 hours in the department and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Career Placement
