Philosophy Minor
A minor in philosophy complements a number of other majors, including English, History, Music, Psychology and Religion. Students seeking a minor in Philosophy must take:
PHI 140 – Introduction to Philosophy
PHI 202 – Logic
PHI 216 – Ethics
PHI 309 – History of Western Philosophy: Ancient and Medieval
PHI 310 – History of Western Philosophy: Modern
1 additional PHI course (of at least 3 semester hours) at or above the 200 level.

All students must complete the General Education requirements for the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degrees that are described in the college catalog. Each degree requires students to take courses in the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, cultures and mathematics. These courses are designed to provide a broad liberal arts background and skills specific to the particular degree program.
