Continuing Study

Students who choose to major in some area other than Religion but who wish to be recommended for continuing study in a theological seminary are encouraged to complete the following:

• At least 3 courses in Religion (REL)
• PHI 309 – History of Western Philosophy: Ancient and Medieval or PHI 310 – History of Western Philosophy: Modern
• PHI 317 – Philosophy of Religion
• 1 course in writing above the 100-level
• 1 course in literature
• 1 course in world history
• A modern language through second-year level
• Classical and New Testament Greek through second-year level
• 1 course in political ideas or international politics
• PSY 101 – General Psychology
• PSY 209 – Abnormal Psychology
