Continuing Study
Students who choose to major in some area other than Religion but who wish to be recommended for continuing study in a theological seminary are encouraged to complete the following:
- At least 3 courses in Religion (REL)
- PHI 309 – History of Western Philosophy: Ancient and Medieval or PHI 310 – History of Western Philosophy: Modern
- PHI 317 – Philosophy of Religion
- 1 course in writing above the 100-level
- 1 course in literature
- 1 course in world history
- A modern language through second-year level
- Classical and New Testament Greek through second-year level
- 1 course in political ideas or international politics
- PSY 101 – General Psychology
- PSY 209 – Abnormal Psychology
