Prior to coming to Heidelberg in 2012, Professor Rager spent the previous five years at Marietta College. Jessica's professional experience includes extensive experience both in collegiate varsity athletics as well as with a CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education Program. As a nationally certified and state licensed Athletic Trainer, Jessica has treated patients from a variety of settings including High School, NJCAA, NCAA DIII varsity athletes, Olympians and Para Olympians.

Professionally, Jessica has demonstrated a passionate approach to her involvement in State, District and National associations. Jessica has been involved with the Young Professionals Committee both for the NATA and has served as the Chair of the GLATA Young Professionals Committee (YPC). Along with these volunteer opportunities, Professor Rager has also served the Ohio Athletic Conference as the Chair of the Athletic Trainers Section. She has also served as moderator at State, Regional and National Symposiums and has spoken to Athletic Training Professionals and Students from across the country at the professional symposiums.

Clinically, Jessica is also a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. She serves as the Athletic Trainer for Men's Soccer as well as Men's & Women's Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field for the Student Princes.

In the summer of 2013, Professor Rager spent a month in China teaching at Tianjin Normal University with a group of Heidleberg Professors and students.
