Our emphasis on continuous data driven quality enhancement of student centered learning is distinctly evidenced from our membership to the Accrediting Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). We strive to involve students in a transformative expedition that fosters communications, critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills. The undergraduate program at Heidelberg School of Business offers B.A. degree in Accounting, Economics, and Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, Management, Marketing, and General Business. In addition, we offer a minor field of study in Economics. A spectrum of interdisciplinary majors such as Sports Management (Business Track), Computer Information Systems, Music Industry, Public Relations, and Media Management are offered through our collaboration with Health & Physical Education, Computer Science, School of Music and Communication and Theatre Arts, respectfully. Our curricular structure is flexible enough to develop other tailor made degree programs in partnership with other components of the university. The HSB graduate program entails an M.B.A. degree with tracks in Field Study and Entrepreneurship. The graduate program employs non-traditional discussion pedagogy with experiential learning which facilitates the integration of curriculum through active involvement of students in the continuous learning process.
The academic and professional credentials of Heidelberg School of Business faculty are a testament of quality. They have received their Ph.D. from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited nationally recognized research universities and some hold relevant professional credential such as CPA. Our faculty are highly effective in sharing their knowledge and they are truly committed to the success of their students. Some of their teaching effectiveness has been recognized with the coveted accolades such as ACBSP International Teaching Excellence Award and Regional Teaching Excellence Award. We have developed our unique mentoring-advisement program called AIM (advise, inspire, mentor) HEI where each student work with a full-time faculty member to design and implement a program of study. We expect you to be involved in an academic and professional career developing discourse both inside and outside of classrooms that will built an intellectually invigorating community of learners. The opportunity for co-curricular intellectually provocative engagement may be derived from your active involvement in HSB programs such as Executive-in-Residence, Patricia Adams Lecture Series, Dean’s Student Advisory Board, and BERG-SIFE.
