Dr. Ken C. Snead is a visiting faculty member while on sabbatical from Bowling Green State University (BGSU). His Ph.D. was earned at the University of South Carolina; he also holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. Dr. Snead has an extensive work background in cost/financial analysis in the manufacturing sector, and has done consulting in this area. His teaching interests lie primarily in the area of cost/managerial accounting.

Honors/Awards
BGSU’s Master Teacher Award, national recognition from the American Accounting Association by winning the Outstanding Dissertation Award for dissertations produced in the management accounting area. His publications have appeared in Management Accounting Quarterly, Advances in Management, Accounting, Journal of Systemic Practice and Action Research, Decision Sciences, Accounting Horizons, Behavioral Research in Accounting, Journal of Management Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting Education, and Information Resources Management Journal.
Hobbies
Ken is the Vice President of the Board of Trustees for Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg and a Finance Committee Member for Dayspring Assembly of God in Bowling Green.
