Chris Tucci is the current director of theatre at Heidelberg University. He began the New Works Festival at Heidelberg, which fosters the creation of original student work. Every theatre season includes an additional previously unproduced work. He believes deeply in the need for the continued support of new works and new voices. As an actor, he has appeared in numerous films, including work featured at the Cannes Film Festival, Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, San Francisco Women of Color Film Festival and Los Angeles International Shorts Film Festival. He was a Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker's Award Finalist.
