Glückwunsch an den Jahrgang 2012!
Many AJY Alumni are honored and graduate in May while Heidelberg alumni make plans in D.C. and Houston
Although it is only the middle of the semester for the AJY students still in Germany, May has brought many great honors to AJY alumni across the US through commencements and award ceremonies. We would like to congratulate all graduating AJY Alumni and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors. We also hope to see some of you in Germany again soon! Numerous AJY alumni were additionally honored with awards and scholarships from their home universities and other organizations and more information about these students can be found on our alumni facebook group site.
Despite the commencement celebrations, AJY and Heidelberg alumni in the US also have meetings this month. Numerous alumni recently had a great meeting in Cleveland and new events have recently been posted for the end of May for alumni in Washington, D.C. and a brand new alumni group is having its first meeting in Houston this month. More information can be found on the HAUS events website and on our alumni facebook group site as well.
We are also still in the process of planning the next general HAUS and AJY Alumni meeting, to be held in Boston from the 21st to the 23rd of September 2012. It will also be part of and directly following a conference for international research alumni of the university. More information on the meeting and conference is forthcoming and you can find more information on the cooperation between international researchers and the Universität Heidelberg here (auf deutsch).
