4th Annual Conference

Healthy Choices for Life

An afternoon of information, conversation and celebration!

February 29, 2008
2:30-7:00 pm

You are invited to attend the fourth annual Women’s Professional Development Conference at Heidelberg College.

Whether you’re a student, just starting your career or well established in your field, don’t miss this opportunity to exchange ideas and connect with women who have distinguished themselves in business and the community. Join women leaders of today and tomorrow to learn which skills will enhance your future success professionally and personally.

Who has time to get healthy?  Or stay healthy?  If I have so many choices in life, why do I feel that I have lost control?  Keynote speaker Barbie Tootle will provide a light-hearted examination of our multi-tasking, fast-paced, over-scheduled everyday lives – and the accompanying feelings of guilt and frustration.  To some women, balancing family and work means juggling parents, roommates and friends with the demands of coursework, student activities and a part-time job.  To others it is advancing a career while managing a household and raising children.  The balancing act takes center stage at every stage of our lives.

Our keynote will share a prescription for getting control, gaining perspective and going forward with greater joy.  She will tell us how being off balance – and loving it – enlarges our choices and enriches our lives.
