Important Campus Resources

The Academic Success Center is one of many campus resources available to students. Part of being a successful student is knowing when to ask for help, and where to go for assistance.

  • Faculty

If you are having trouble in one of your classes, one of the first steps you should take is to talk to your professor. Faculty have regular office hours and are often best able to assist you with the specific understanding of the course material.

Faculty advisors will help you make decisions regarding your chosen major. They are also a good resource to provide career advice, opportunities and mentoring.

Career Development offers a number of important services including assistance for students who have not yet decided on a major.  You can set up a meeting with the staff in Career Development by calling 419 448-2058.  Career Development also has information and resources on internship opportunities, job search strategies and career choices.

The Registrar’s office provides students with information about college curricula, degree requirements, class schedules, course registration, transfer credit evaluation, and academic standing and history.

The college librarians are a vast resource of information about how to find information for a paper, navigate the library system, or develop search techniques. For more information, ask a librarian; stop by the reference desk at Beeghly Library.

International Programs oversees the Study Abroad Programs and American Junior Year. In addition, information about study abroad opportunities through other institutions is available through this office.
