Dual Admission Application

Heidelberg University & Your Community College

• Terra Community College
•  North Central State Community College
• Marion Technical College

You may apply to the Dual Admission Program directly out of high school or as a college transfer student. The program necessitates that you meet all admission requirements and be accepted at both the community college and Heidelberg. Your completed application will be submitted to Heidelberg and the community college selected for dual application. Please note, all information submitted on the application form and through the admission process will be kept confidential.
 
Freshman Applicants

• If you are a high school graduate and have no prior college credit, your admission  to the program will be based on a review of your high school transcript(s) and ACT or SAT scores.
• Freshman applicants should submit:
  • completed Heidelberg & Marion Technical College Dual Application for Admission; or,
• • completed Heidelberg & Terra Community College Dual Application for Admission; or,
  • completed Heidelberg & North Central Community College Dual Application for Admission
  • official high school transcript(s) including ACT or SAT scores.

Transfer Applicants

• If you are currently enrolled at one of the participating community colleges, or another college, or have previously been enrolled in college, you may apply to the Dual Admission Program.
• A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (A=4.0) is required for admission from another college or university. Courses with a grade of "C-" or better are eligible for transfer consideration.
• Transfer applicants should submit:
  • completed Heidelberg & Marion Technical College Dual Application for Admission; or,
  • completed Heidelberg & Terra Community College Dual Application for Admission; or,
  • completed Heidelberg & North Central Community College  Dual Application for Admission
  • official final high school transcript(s) including ACT or SAT scores if applicable;
  • official transcripts from all colleges attended. To be official, transcripts must be sent from the institution directly to both colleges: your selected community college and Heidelberg.
