Visiting campus is definitely the best way to decide if Heidelberg is a good fit for you. Your personalized visit will help answer your questions, show you what life is like at the Berg, and introduce you to students, staff and faculty who will share their stories.

Heidelberg offers a variety of visit opportunities, and we look forward to helping you schedule your visit to our campus.

Campus Visit

There are many ways to experience life at Heidelberg, and we hope you’ll take advantage of our various visit opportunities. We consider the campus visit a key part of your decision-making process. You can have an individual tour of our campus, talk with an admission counselor, meet professors and coaches who can help answer your questions and even try a meal at our campus dining facility. Individual appointments may be scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (year round). Saturdays group visits are also available from  9:00 a.m. – Noon from September to April. Please contact the Office of Admission at 1-800 HEIDELBERG or 419.448.2330 one week prior to your visit so we may prepare for your arrival.

Special Events

Open Houses and Preview Days are your chance to learn more about Heidelberg and explore everything the University has to offer. This day-long program on campus will introduce you to our academic programs and the faculty, explain about the financial aid programs we offer and show you what life is like at the Berg. You’ll enjoy a complimentary lunch, tour our campus, visit the Honors House and the bookstore and meet with an Admission Counselor who can help answer your questions.

All accepted students can visit overnight on campus at most anytime of the year. Overnight visits are a great way to find out what it’s like to be a Heidelberg student. You get to spend the evening in one of our residence halls, attend classes, and eat in the dining hall. You even get to know a current student who has similar interests to your own! Call 1-800-HEIDELBERG or email visit@heidelberg.edu for more information!
