Dr. Csaba Nyiri triple majored in philosophy, history, and American studies as an undergraduate in Budapest, Hungary. He was awarded a USIA John Marshall Fellowship, and subsequently received both an M.A. and a Ph.D. (2003) degree in Philosophy from Bowling Green State University. Dr. Nyiri has taught business ethics for ten years at the University of Toledo, and teaches ethics and managerial ethics courses at Heidelberg University. He worked as an assistant to the review editor of Philosophy and Economics, and was asked to be a reviewer for the Journal of Economics and Politics. His main scholarly interest lies in ethical and political theory.
He is currently collaborating to develop case studies for publication. In the past several years, raising his three children has been his most time-consuming “hobby,” which involved him in a wide-range of colorful adventures from the soccer field to PTO presidency.
