Back The Berg Golf Outing

The Heidelberg College Alumni "H" Association holds a golf outing every summer to help support its student-athletes. The fifth annual back the Berg Golf Outing will be held at the beautiful Mohawk Country Club in Tiffin, Ohio on Friday, July 25, 2008. This venue provides a great atmosphere for a fun day with alumni and friends of Heidelberg gathering in support of 'Berg athletics.
 
Registration for the outing is from 9:30-10:30 with a shotgun start to follow at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided on the course and dinner will follow the outing at Carmie's Grille and Bar. The cost of the outing is $150 per golfer, or $600 for a foursome. Cost of the event covers access to the driving range and the practice green, green fees, cart, gifts, door prizes, hole contests, lunch and dinner. We hope you will help to make this year's event the biggest and best we've ever had. The student-athletes and athletic department appreciate your participation in the important "H" Association fundraiser. There are several ways in which you can participate even if you cannot attend. There are sponsorship opportunities, along with a chance to donate items for the silent auction and as raffle prizes.

The 2007 outing was held on July 27 at the Westfield Group Country Club in Westfield Center, Ohio. A total of 25 groups, 95 golfers in total, took to the links for a worthy cause. The foursome of Rob Karnes, Jim Robson, John Buccigross and Todd Bertermann shot a 57, 14 under par, to take home first-place honors. To see a complete recap of the 2007 outing click here.
