TIFFIN, Ohio—Heidelberg University placed 23 student-athletes on the fall season’s Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference list, as announced by the league on Tuesday. Overall, 187 student-athletes from the 10 OAC schools were recognized.
Four Heidelberg teams were represented on the list. Football led the way with 15 selections, volleyball added six and men’s and women’s soccer each had one.
Of the 39 teams honored conference wide, Heidelberg Football had the most selections.
Academic All-OAC for men’s and women’s cross country will be announced in the spring with track and field.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, have reached varsity status, and be at least sophomore academic standing.
