Andrea Gerdeman, softball senior
Defending the bases for the Berg is senior Andrea Gerdeman. In her junior season, Gerdeman made 101 appearances at the plate ranking second on the team with a .237 batting average. Gerdeman was also second on the team in hits with 22 and tied for second in doubles, with three on the year. Beyond her success on the field, Gerdeman was named a 2009 Girls Got Game/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete and also received a 2009 Academic All-OAC Honorable Mention. While at Heidelberg, Gerdeman studied health and physical education and will graduate in May.
