All-American defensive tackle Matt Grieves returns to Heidelberg as a student assistant with the defense in 2010.
Grieves completed a stellar four-year career at the Berg in 2009 where he became the 39th All-American in the history of the program. He also picked up his third straight All-Ohio Athletic Conference nod, which was a spot on the first team, as well as all-region honors from both D3football.com and OhioCollegeFootball.com. In 2009 he led the team in tackles with 82, including a team-best 39 solo stops. He also stood atop the team and was ranked in the top-10 in the nation in tackles for a loss with 19.5. Finally, Grieves led the Berg with seven sacks for a loss of 39 yards.
A native of Huron, Ohio, Grieves attended Huron High School.
