Junior wide receiver Donteea Dye claimed his first OAC Player of the Week selection after the Berg routed the Quakers of Wilmington, 66-12 on Saturday.
Dye finished with 131 yards receiving on six receptions with a long of 48 yards. Dye found the end zone twice on the day.
In his junior year, Donteea leads the Berg with 11 receptions for 338 yards, an average of 30.7 yards per reception. He has found the end zone four times and has stretched out a reception for 73 yards, which marks his long for the year.
Entering week four of the 2013 Heidelberg season, Dye averages 112.7 yards per game.
On Saturday, Heidelberg hits the road for the first time this season. They will square off with Marietta at 7 p.m.
