Heidelberg Receiving Points in AFCA Top-25 Poll

TIFFIN, Ohio—The Heidelberg University football team is receiving two points in this week’s edition of the American Football Coaches Association top-25 poll, released today by the AFCA. The Student Princes, collecting their first national mention of the season, are one of three Ohio Athletic Conference teams to receive mention in the poll.

The Berg, 4-1 overall and 3-1 in the OAC, is coming off a 17-7 victory at previously unbeaten Muskingum University (4-1, 3-1 OAC), in which the offense totaled 381 yards and did not allow a sack against one of NCAA Division III’s top-ranked defenses.

This week, the Student Princes host OAC foe No. 2 Mount Union, which has been ranked in the second slot in all four polls this season. Kickoff from Mayer Field is slated for 1:30 p.m. Live stats for that game will be available at the following URL: http://www.heidelberg.edu/statcrew/fb/xlive.htm.
