Heidelberg Among Nationally Ranked

The first pitch of the 2010 season has yet to be thrown, but the Heidelberg University baseball team has landed itself in familiar territory, the national rankings.
 
According to D3baseball.com Heidelberg is ranked 10th in the 2010 preseason poll and stands 14th according to the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
 
Heidelberg has emerged into the national rankings on numerous occasions since Matt Palm took over the reigns of the program in 2000. Most notably, a season ago, Heidelberg found itself in the preseason rankings and never vacated the top-25 the entire season, standing as high as third in the D3baseball.com poll ...
