More Renovations Complete at Peaceful Valley

Peaceful Valley, the home of Heidelberg College baseball, recently received another upgrade. Phase three of the baseball complex renovation was completed, which included the installation of four 25-foot poles on the back stop to hold netting for the back stop. The netting replaces a chain link fence.

Phase three followed the additions of a batting cage that was built in the fall of 2006 and a  3 1/2 inch split face block wall that was built this past fall. The netting for the back stop runs from the wall and up the 25-foot poles.

Next step in the renovation plans for Peaceful Valley include an improved grandstand area, which will include stadium seating.

Heidelberg is scheduled to host Ohio Wesleyan University in its 2008 home opener on March 25 beginning at 3:00 p.m.
