TIFFIN, Ohio—The Heidelberg University men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete tomorrow at the Ohio Wesleyan Invite at Liberty Park in Powell, Ohio. The gun for the women’s five-kilometer run will go off at 10:30 a.m. and the men’s eight-kilometer run starts at 11:15 a.m.
Last Saturday, the men’s team took first place at the Tiffin Challenge Invite. Seniors Jacob Hoffman (Shelby), John Gogle (Sunbury/Big Walnut) and Jordan Karnes (Edgerton), and juniors Gareth Graver (Enon/Greenon) and Kevin Neel (Wellington/New London) finished the six-kilometer course in 20:47.
Junior Bobbi Custer (Woodstock/Triad), sophomores Sophie Goobic (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) and Jocelyn Staugler (Coldwater), and freshmen Rachael Brushaber (Harbor Springs, Mich.) and Julia Darling (Amsterdam/Carrollton) placed eighth in a time of 17:52.
