Lasch Receives Runner of the Week Honor

Scott Lasch (Huron, Ohio / Huron) received the Ohio Athletic Conference Runner of the Week Honor for the week of Oct. 8. Lasch is a junior on the Heidelberg College men’s cross country team and most recently placed at the All-Ohio Championships on Oct. 6.

It was the second-consecutive year Lasch has finished in the top-five, this year standing in third-place in a time of 26:50.8, which improved on his fourth-place finish a year ago. Also on Saturday, he was named the Runner of the Year for NCAA Division III in Ohio for 2006.

The men race again Oct. 17 in Tiffin, Ohio at the Short Course Tune-Up. The gun will sound at 4:30 p.m.
