Butcher Races to Runner of the Week for Second Time

Heidelberg cross country runner Devin Butcher (Bowling Green, Ohio / Bowling Green) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Runner of the Week for the second time this season. He previously earned the honor for the week of September 29 after placing third at the Otterbein Invitational.
 
He picked up the award this week for his third place at the All-Ohio Championships held at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. He was the highest placing OAC runner, completing the race in 26:14.9, just 27 seconds out of first.
 
As a team, the men finished eighth out of 20 teams, just behind OAC opponents Mount Union College and Ohio Northern University and ahead of Otterbein College, Wilmington College, Capital University, John Carroll University, Marietta College, and Muskingum College. Heidelberg races next at the Short Course Tune-up hosted by the Berg on Friday, October 24 at 4:00 p.m.
