Haley Releases 2009 Schedule

Heidelberg University head men’s soccer coach Brian Haley has announced the release of its 2009 schedule. The Berg is slated to play 18 regular season contests, including nine Ohio Athletic Conference games. Of its 18 outings, 11 are scheduled to be played at Mayer Field, on the campus of Heidelberg.
 
The year opens with an away contest at Oberlin College Sept. 1. Following its season-opening road game, Heidelberg will stay in Tiffin for nine of its next 11 games. Its home schedule begins with four-consecutive at home starting with Albion College Sept. 4. Following Albion is Pennsylvania institutions Geneva College (Sept. 9) and Allegheny College (Sept. 12), along with North Coast Athletic Conference member Bluffton University (Sept. 12) ... 2009 Men's Soccer Golf Scramble

The Heidelberg University men’s soccer team is slated to host its 10th annual Best Ball Golf Scramble August 15, 2009. The outing will take place at the Clinton Heights Golf Course in Tiffin, Ohio and will have a shot gun start at 3:00 p.m.
 
The cost of the outing is $60 per golfer, with teams consisting of four players. Hole sponsorships are also available for $25 per hole. The cost of the outing includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch and prizes. All proceeds will be used to help provide new dug out shelters for a game field at Hidden Valley.
