Botting Receives All-Region Honor

Already having earned a Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference nod for the 2007 season, Heidelberg College freshman forward Owen Botting (Billingsburst, England / The Weald School) has also been recently earned Third Team All-Great Lakes Region accolades from the National Soccer Coaches Athletic Association and Adidas.

In his first year at the Berg, Botting played in all 19 games, starting 18, and contributed seven points (two goals and three assists). He provided the game-winning assist in Heidelberg’s first win of the season against the College of Wooster and shot in the first goal of Heidelberg’s 2-1 victory over Tri-State.
