Mayer Field
Heidelberg College has one of the best soccer facilities in the state at the NCAA Division III level. The game field is the envy of many other teams as its playing surface is of the highest quality. The field, part of the college's Mayer Field complex, is centrally located on campus inside an eight lane running track.
An underground sprinkler system keeps the field in top condition during the dry summer and early fall months. The field, the soccer specific scoreboard, the public address system, the concession stand and seating for 500 spectators, makes it one of the best college facilities.
A separate training field is located Hidden Valley, 500 yards from the center of campus. It is vital that a program has a separate training field for practice in order to keep the game field in top condition. The practice site has access to water for the fields that keeps them in quality condition. Heidelberg's practice soccer field rivals many teams game field.
Locker rooms are located in Seiberling Gymnasium, which is adjacent to the field.
