TIFFIN, Ohio—Heidelberg University senior defender Joe Trejo (Tucson, Az./Sabino), senior midfielder Michael Juart (Hilliard/Darby) and junior midfielder Trevor Dawson (Keller, Texas/Keller) were named to the Wilmington Kiwanis Classic all-tournament team following a two-match outing this weekend, including a 1-0 win against St. Vincent (Pa.) College last night.
Trejo’s sixth-minute goal against St. Vincent carried the Berg to victory, while Juart and Dawson’s defensive play limited the Bearcats to just 15 shots and five corner kicks.
Heidelberg (1-2-1) next plays at the Kenyon College Tournament in Gambrills, Ohio, Friday and Sunday, Sept. 16 and 18. The Student Princes face Kenyon at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and take on The College of Wooster at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
