'Berg to Host Nationally-Ranked Case Western Reserve

The Heidelberg College men’s soccer team, fresh off a 6-0 victory over visiting Siena Heights University on Tuesday, is set to host nationally-ranked Case Western Reserve University on Saturday, Sept. 22 at Mayer Field on the campus of Heidelberg. The game is slated to begin at 4:30 p.m.

Heidelberg currently boasts an overall record of 3-4 and will strive to make it four wins on the year, while handing Case Western (6-0) its first setback of the season.

For the year, freshman Charlie Sales (Tucson, Ariz. / Sabino) leads the way with six points on three goals, while Brad Howell (Lexington, Ohio / Lexington) has picked up five points through seven games courtesy of two goals and an assist. In goal for the Berg is sophomore Jared Kealy (Dublin, Ohio / Dublin Jerome). Kealy has played every minute at goalkeeper on the year, giving up 11 goals and picking up 29 saves for a .725 save percentage.
