The Heidelberg University men's tennis team was looking to collect their second Ohio Athletic Conference victory of the spring over Baldwin Wallace on a gloomy April, Tuesday. The Berg duo of Cliff Goetz (Oak Harbor) and Zach Schwenning (Barberton) captured the only victory for the Student Princes (4-10, 1-4 OAC) in doubles action as the Yellow Jackets handed the Berg an 8-1 defeat.
Goetz and Schwenning dealt their BWU counterpart an 8-6 loss for the lone Berg victory in Berea, Ohio.
In 2012-13 the pair of Student Princes have swung their way to a team-best 9-5 record in doubles competiton.
The Heidelberg men are scheduled to return to the court on Saturday, April 20, against the University of Mount Union. Action between the Purple Raiders and the Student Princes is slated for 1:00 p.m. from the Heidelberg University Tennis Courts in Tiffin, Ohio
