Hilton Head, S.C. – March 7, 2010 – The Heidelberg University men’s tennis team began their spring trip matches today and took on nonconference opponent Emory & Henry College.
The Berg falls to 0-4 on the year after being defeated 6-3. EMC improves their overall record to 6-2 on the year.
Taking a solo win for the Berg was junior Dylan Booth (Westerville, Ohio / Central) with scores of 6-4, 6-3. Junior Bradley Cerveny (North Royalton, Ohio / North Royalton)made a comeback at third singles defeating EMC’s Adam Henderson (3-6, 6-4, 6-1).
Sophomore Ryan Earl (Madison, Ohio / Madison) also picked up a singles victory (6-2, 7-6, 7-1).
The Berg continues their spring break matches Tuesday, March 9, against Westminster College.
