Tiffin, Ohio – April 13, 2010 – The Heidelberg University men’s tennis team hosted Ohio Athletic Conference opponents Ohio Northern University this afternoon. The Polar Bears topped the ‘Berg, 8-1, to improve their overall record to 8-2 and 3-0 in the OAC, while the ‘Berg drops to 4-8 and 2-2.
Earning the solo win for the Heidelberg was junior Miles Yetter (Dublin, Ohio / Dublin Jerome) at sixth singles giving him his fifth win for the year at this position and earning his third straight win. Yetter did not hold back and won his match against opponent Matt Dutro in two sets (6-3, 6-4). For the year Yetter is 7-4 overall and 5-1 at sixth singles.
Bradley Cerveney (North Royalton, Ohio / North Royalton) and Dylan Booth (Westerville, Ohio / Central) teamed up at third doubles to take four games off of Ohio Northern.
Heidelberg takes to the road Saturday, April 17, to face OAC opponents Marietta College with start time scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
