Springfield, Ohio – October 2, 2010 - The Heidelberg University men’s tennis team traveled today to take on Wittenberg University. This was the second of two matches that the Berg plays in their fall preseason. The Berg faced a tough, 9-0, loss to the Tigers.
Pushing his match into a third set tiebreaker was junior Patrick Ryan Earl (Madison, Ohio / Madison) at third singles. Earl took the first set by a score of 6-1 but fell in the second 6-2, but was defeated 10-5 in a third set tiebreaker.
Sophomore, Bobbi Lochotzki (Oak Harbor, Ohio / Oak Harbor), was able to take away five games from his opponent at first singles but fell 6-2, 6-3.
