HILTON HEAD, S.C.—The Heidelberg University men’s tennis team defeated Greenville (Ill.) College, 5-4, today in Hilton Head, S.C. The Berg was led by seniors Bobby Lochotzki (Oak Harbor) and Cliff Goetz (Oak Harbor), who combined for three wins.
Lochotzki, Goetz and sophomores Dorion Kempf (Galion) and Matthew McDivitt (Cortland/Lakeview) each scored wins in singles action.
Lochotzki and Goetz teamed for the Student Princes’ only victory in doubles action, taking a 9-7 decision from Ian Wolf and Andrew Herlein.
The Berg wraps up its tour of Hilton Head tomorrow when it faces Gordon (Mass.) College at 12:30 p.m.
