Mount Union Tops the Berg

It was a rough day in Alliance, Ohio for the Heidelberg College men’s tennis team. The men fell to Mount Union College 9-0, and drop to 3-4 on the year, 0-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

The closest match in singles for the Berg came at second singles in which Moody Al-Turk (Sandusky, Ohio / Perkins) fell to Brian Mogus 6-3, 6-2. In doubles, the team of Max Norris (Toledo, Ohio / Springfield) and Jacob Craig (Toledo, Ohio / Sylvania) lost 8-4 to Mount’s Zach Perry and Jimmy Jeffries at first doubles for the closest pair match.

The men head back onto the court on Saturday, March 29, at home against Marietta College at 1 p.m.
