Heidelberg Falls to Muskies

The Heidelberg College men’s tennis team drops to 6-7 on the year, 2-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference after suffering a 6-3 setback at Muskingum College. The Muskies stand even at 5-5 on the year, 4-3 in OAC action.

Emerging victorious for the Student Princes were Brad Cerveny (North Royalton, Ohio / North Royalton) at fourth singles, Miles Yetter (Dublin, Ohio / Dublin Jerome) at sixth singles, and the duo of Max Norris (Toledo, Ohio / Springfield) and Ryan Michel (Milan, Ohio / Edison) at second doubles. Cerveny won his match against Muskingum’s Malcolm Reed 6-3, 6-4, while Yetter defeated Rahil Devgan 6-3, 6-7, 10-8. Norris and Michel beat Shivtaj Singh and Adrian Matthews 8-5.

Heidelberg returns to the court on Wednesday, April 16, at home against John Carroll University. Play is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
