Men's Tennis Completes Regular Season

The Otterbein College Cardinals defeated the Heidelberg College men’s tennis team 9-0 to complete the regular season for both teams. Heidelberg drops to 5-10 overall, 2-7 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while Otterbein stands at 5-11 for the year, 3-6 in the OAC.

In singles competition, Heidelberg’s closest match came in the first position where Max Norris (Toledo, Ohio / Springfield) fell to A. Tyler Stephen from Otterbein 6-3, 4-6, 11-9. Meanwhile the closest match in doubles was in the third spot. Heidelberg’s Miles Yetter (Dublin, Ohio / Dublin Jerome) and Dylan Booth (Westerville, Ohio / Westerville Central) were beat by Jason Wagner and Jonathan Smith 8-6.

Heidelberg hits the courts next when the team participates in the OAC Championships next week. Time and place are to be announced.
