Booth Victorious Against Crusaders

The Heidelberg University men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback to Capital University in an Ohio Athletic Conference match today, April 21. The match was a home contest for the Berg, but was played indoors at the Baywinds Athletic Club in Sandusky, Ohio. Capital improves to 2-10 overall and 2-2 in the OAC, while the Berg stands at 3-7 and 2-6.
 
Scoring Heidelberg's lone point in the match was sophomore Dylan Booth (Westerville, Ohio / Central) in the fourth singles spot. Booth dropped set one 6-1, before battling back to even the match with a 6-2 victory in set two. He won the tiebreaker 10-5 to seal his victory.
 
Miles Yetter (Dublin, Ohio / Dublin Jerome) followed Booth at fifth singles and nearly put together a repeat performance. He began with a 6-3 loss in set one and came back for a 7-5 win in set two. Unfortunately Yetter fell 10-5 in the tiebreaker.
 
Next up for the Berg is a trip to Alliance,Ohio, Saturday, April 25, to face Mount Union College. The match is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m.
