Zuchowski Named Academic All-Conference

Justin Zuchowski (Brunswick, Ohio / Brunswick), a senior sprinter on the Heidelberg College track and field team, has earned a place on the 2008 Men’s Cross Country / Track & Field Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference list. It is the second-straight year Zuchowski has earned a spot on the list.

An accounting and business major, Zuchowski maintains a 3.83 GPA while competing on both the indoor and outdoor track teams at the Berg. This year, Zuchowski earned All-OAC honors during the indoor season as a member of the 4x200-meter relay team and was an integral part of helping the Berg place second in the OAC during the indoor season and third at the OAC meet while outside this spring.

Academic All-OAC award winners are selected by the OAC faculty athletic representatives. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.25 GPA, be a starter or a key reserve, and be in at least his second year of participation in the sport.
