Austintown, Ohio – March 28, 2011 – Sophomore Nate Davis (Dayton, Ohio / Stivers) of the Heidelberg University men’s track and field team was tabbed the Ohio Athletic Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week. This marks his first track and field honor of his career.
Davis earned two of the Berg’s four first-place finishes at the Cedarville Invite over the weekend en route to Heidelberg placing second overall with 90 points.
He placed first in long jump (22’.75”) and in high jump with a leap of 6’5”. His high jump mark was only 2.75” off from a NCAA provisional qualifying score.
