TIFFIN, Ohio—Junior Nate Davis (Dayton/Stivers) and senior Joe Yoder (West Liberty/West Liberty-Salem) both earned bids to the 2012 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships following performances in an unscored meet today at the University of Mount Union’s Last Chance Meet at Peterson Field House in Alliance, Ohio.
Davis recorded a mark of 6-9.00 in the high jump, while Yoder tallied 4,697 points in the heptathlon. Both placed first in their event.
Davis and Yoder will represent Heidelberg on March 9-10 at the 2012 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Grinnell (Iowa) College in Grinnell, Iowa.
