Four Selected Academic All-OAC Volleyball

TIFFIN, Ohio—Heidelberg University senior outside hitters Jackie Reinhart (New Riegel) and Venessa Haase (Miamisburg), junior right side hitter Jacki Street (Grafton/Midview) and sophomore middle hitter Amber Welfle (Norwalk/St. Paul) were selected to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Volleyball team, announced today by the league office. Reinhart, Haase and Street earned first-team honors, while Welfle picked up honorable mention accolades.

The announcement comes a day after Reinhart was named American Volleyball Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-America.

Reinhart, a two-time OAC player of the year and four-time All-OAC selection, carries a 3.71 grade-point-average in middle childhood education. In 2011, she played in all 39 matches and 123 sets and was among...
