TIFFIN, Ohio—The No. 8 Heidelberg University volleyball team will continue Ohio Athletic Conference play when it travels to Westerville, Ohio Saturday for a noon match with conference foe Otterbein University in the Rike Center. Following that match, the Berg will face Columbus State at 2 p.m.
Heidelberg, 11-2 overall and 1-0 in the OAC, opened league play Tuesday night by sweeping Wilmington College in Tiffin. A total of 20 student-athletes saw action for the Berg in that contest and a balanced offensive attack featured six players notch five or more kills.
Senior reigning OAC player of the year Jackie Reinhart (New Riegel), who led the defense against the Quakers with seven digs, is approaching 1,000 kills for her career.
Otterbein, 11-3 overall, will be playing both its first OAC and home match of 2011. The Cardinals are led by Annie Juenger, who ranks among the team’s top five in four statistical categories.

Columbus State, which plays a mostly junior college schedule, enters the match 12-7 overall.
Following Saturday’s doubleheader, ‘Berg returns home for an OAC match with Capital University on Wednesday, Sept. 28 in Seiberling Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
