Berea, Ohio – October 12, 2010 – The Heidelberg University volleyball team extended its Ohio Athletic Conference record to 5-0 with a sweep (25-23, 25-17, 25-21) of Baldwin-Wallace College tonight in Berea, Ohio. Overall Heidelberg, ranked 13th in the nation, improved to 23-3. Heidelberg sits in sole possession of first place in the league standings following the sweep.
Producing a double-double consisting of 11 kills and 11 digs to lead the way was Venessa Haase (Miamisburg, Ohio / Miamisburg). Backing Haase was Jackie Reinhart (New Riegel, Ohio / New Riegel) with eight kills. Reinhart added 13 digs, as well as three service aces.
Dishing out a team-leading 22 assists was Rachel Ferguson (Brighton, Mich. / Brighton).
Brittany Donelan (North Olmsted, Ohio / North Olmsted) led the back row with 24 digs.
