Solid Shooting Leads to Road Win

The Heidelberg University women’s basketball team connected on 12 three-pointers en route to an 81-62 victory over Marietta College in an Ohio Athletic Conference match up. The game was originally slated to be played yesterday, Feb. 6, but was rescheduled due to the weather. The win improved Heidelberg to 5-16 overall and 4-10 in the OAC, while Marietta falls to 3-18, 1-13.
 
Heidelberg shot a season-best .509 (28-of-59) from the field, including another season-high of .600 from long range. The contingent of Alyssa Esposito (Brecksville, Ohio / Brecksville-Broadview Heights),Lyndsey DaVault (Orrville, Ohio / Orrville), Stacey Barker (Grove City, Ohio / Grove City), Stacey Richard (Galloway, Ohio / Central Crossing) and Jordan Ickes (Wooster, Ohio / Triway) combined to connect on 12-of-20 three-pointers.
