All-American Rachael Poland to be Honored

The Heidelberg University “H” Association is pleased to announce its 25th class of inductees into the Heidelberg Athletic Hall of Fame. Included in the class are football alums Fred McGarvey ’56, Stan Parrish ’69 and Shaun Martin ’92, as well as women’s basketball standout Rachael Poland Novak ’03. Also joining the class is the 1998 men’s cross country team and the 1999 men’s outdoor track and field team.
 

The Hall of Fame induction activities will take place during Homecoming Weekend Oct. 9. The honorees will be recognized during halftime of Heidelberg’s homecoming football game versus Muskingum University and will be officially inducted later that evening at a banquet.
 
Heidelberg kicks off with the Muskies at 1:30 p.m. at Mayer Field, on the campus of Heidelberg. The banquet begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the formal induction ceremonies. The banquet is $20 for adults and $15 for children under 10.
