Kayla Gordon enters her first season as graduate assistant coach with the Heidelberg women’s basketball team in 2011-12 and will work primarily with the post position.
Gordon was a women’s basketball and softball student-athlete at Ohio Wesleyan University from 2007-11. She was a four-year All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection in basketball and led the team to the NCAC tournament championship season during her sophomore year of 2008-09 and second place finishes in her junior and senior seasons.
A native of St. Louis, Mo., Gordon was a high school all-district honoree in basketball, softball and track & field.
Gordon graduated from OWU in 2011 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and women’s & gender studies and is pursuing her Master’s degree in clinical counseling.
