St. Louis, Mo. – November 21, 2009 – The Heidelberg University women’s basketball team dropped a 71-56 decision to host Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Mo. today, November 21. The setback drops the Berg to 0-2 on the year, while Missouri Baptist improves to 5-0.
Junior Jenny Miller (Tiffin, Ohio / Clyde) led the Berg in scoring for the second-straight game, finishing with 14 points, to go along with nine rebounds. Senior Stacey Barker (Grove City, Ohio / Grove City) backed Miller with 12 points, all from long range.
Stacey Richard (Galloway, Ohio / Central Crossing) shared team-high rebounding honors with nine boards and added eight points.
